GROOMING FOR MAN

A passenger automatically forms an impression about an airline’s cabin crew by initially observing his outward behavior and grooming and it reflects on his later journey on that airline. Every cabin crew must be extra careful and alert about his personal freshness and uniform. Because a cabin crew is the face of the airline; he represents the airline.

Hair:

Long hair must be trimmed from eyebrows and noticeable hair in nostrils or ears must be removed. Hair must not be over the tip of the collar line. Side burns or whiskers must not be too long or bushy.

Shaving & Moustache:

A cabin crew must be clean shaved at all times. Any kind Beard is not permitted. Moustache is permitted but it must be trimmed all the times. It must never reach the outer edge of the lips. Goatee, stylish moustache or beard are not permitted.

Hands & Nails:

Hands and nails must be clean at all times. Nails should not be longer than the tip of the finger and should be rounded and manicured.

Teeth: Cabin crew’s teeth must be well-brushed and must look perfectly clean and have their natural whiteness. Cabin crew should visit the Dentist for any dental care and in case of any bad odor from the mouth. It is very important!

Shoes:

Cabin crew’s shoes must be well-polished, shining and clean at all times. Shoes must not have cracked leather or over used sole.

Jewellery:

Cabin crew may wear a small identification Bracelet with hisr name engraved on it but without any dangling chain. He may wear a simple gold/silver ring. Male cabin crew should wear a tie tack or tie pin to securely hold the tie.

Wrist watch:

Cabin crew must wear a good watch at all times while on duty. The face (dial) of the watch must complement the wrist band.

Lenses or Spectacles:

Cabin crew may wear contact lenses or spectacles which match his facial Structure. Oversized frames or dark lenses are not permitted.

Sun glasses or goggles:

Sun glasses or goggles are permitted only when cabin crew is off duties and off the plane.
